MASSACHUSETTS

AMC Boston Chapter Paddlers Committee - This group has more than 500 members who take part in club events, hold clinics, and work to protect waterways. Part of their site is accessible to non-members.
AMC Southeastern Massachusetts - This group organizes a variety of trips and events.
Boston Outrigger Racing Association - Dedicated to expanding the sport of Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe racing on the East Coast
Boston Sea Kayak Club - Sea kayakers of all abilities are welcome in this club, which organizes trips and hosts an active message board.
Holyoke Rows - Holyoke Rows is a non-profit community organization located at Jones Ferry River Access Center along the Connecticut River in Holyoke. They run youth and adult learn-to-row programs and offer adaptive rowing programs for people with disabilities. They have an active club membership of experienced rowers.
Northshore Outrigger Canoe Club - North Shore Outrigger is dedicated to promoting and perpetuating the sport of Hawaiian outrigger canoe racing in the Boston area, by providing recreational and competitive paddling opportunities for adults of all ages.
North Shore Paddlers Network - North Shore paddlers whose trips include both flat water and open ocean.
Wampanoag Paddlers - The club runs 25 or more trips a year, with day trips mostly in Southeastern New England and canoe-camping trips all over New England.

Thomas Hooker - Formerly the Troutbrook Brewing Company, they create award-winning beers in Hartford.

MAINE

The Great Lost Bear - Opened in 1979, the Bear has gained a reputation as one of the best places to grab a beer . . . anywhere. Beer Advocate rated it one of the four best places in the country to grab a pint. They feature great grub, plus a whopping 54 taps, with 15 Maine microbreweries represented as well as some from New Hampshire, Vermont and Mass.
Gritty McDuff's -
They've been making great ales for nearly two decades, and have grown from a sole small brew pub in Portland's Old Port to become one of the region's best brew pubs with several locations around Maine.
Sea Dog Brewing Company - A maker of excellent ales, they have restaurant locations in Bangor and Topsham. For fruit-flavored beers, their Blue Paw Wheat Ale, featuring a subtle blueberry flavor, is one of the best around.
Shipyard Brewing Company - Born of the fertile beer region that is the Portland area, Shipyard has been brewing legendary brews for more than a decade.

MASSACHUSETTS

Berkshire Brewing Company - Located in South Deerfield, they produce an excellent line of beers, all of which are unfiltered, unpastuerized, and contain no chemical additives or preservatives. P.S. Get a growler of the Steel Rail or Lost Sailor. You won't regret it.
Buzzards Bay Brewing Company -
Site is mostly under construction; you can find their beers around the Cape and Southeastern Mass.
Harpoon Brewing Company -
A local legend that helped usher in the age of the microbrew in the Northeast, Harpoon has been brewing great beer for 20 years. Originally brewed in Boston, they now have a second facility in Windsor, Vermont.
Hyland Orchard and Brewery -
Located in Sturbridge, the kids can go pick apples and check out the animals while you sample the tasty Sturbridge Farmhand Ale.
The Moan and Dove -
One of the more unique places to grab a brew around, this Amherst establishment has dozens upon dozens of top-notch brews to choose from.
The Northampton Brewery - The oldest operating brewpub in the Northeast has excellent chow and is located in one of the coolest towns around, Northampton.
Paper City Brewery - Brewed out of an old manufacturing warehouse in Holyoke, this company has produced some great brews in the last few years. Their Winter Palace seasonal is one of the very best around.
Wachusett Brewing Company - For more than a decade they've made excellent beers in the shadow of the mountain.

NEW HAMPSHIRE

Nutfield Brewing Company - Based in Derry, this brewery has a great selection of year-round offerings, plus some fine seasonal brews.
The Portsmouth Brewery -
The state's first brewpub was founded in 1991. It has excellent grub and all beers served there are brewed on the premises with the exception of a few brewed by Smuttynose, which is the brewery's sister company.
Red Parka Pub
- In Glen, near Attitash and ski areas, live music
Smuttynose Brewing Company - One of the region's all-stars, they serve up such creations as Shoals Pale Ale, Old Brown Dog and Robust Porter from their Portsmouth location.
Tuckerman Brewing Company - Brewed in Conway and named after the legendary ravine, Tuckerman's flagship brew is an American style pale ale. Take a virtual tour of their brewery online.

RHODE ISLAND

Coastal Extreme Brewing Company - Brews such Newport Storm beers as Hurricane Amber Ale, Blizzard Porter and Thunderhead Irish Red.
Coddington Brewing Company - A brewpub and restaurant in Middletown, they hand-craft their lagers and ales on the premises.

VERMONT

Long Trail Brewing Company - One of the several superb breweries that call Vermont home, they have a great selection of beers, including one of the best seasonals around, their winter Hibernator. They also work with the Green Mountain Club to help support the Long Trail.
Magic Hat Brewing Company -
A funky website to match the creativity of their line of brews. They're probably best known for their immortal #9, but their entire frothy selection is phenomenal.
Otter Creek Brewing Company - Another Vermont legend, this Middlebury company offers a delicious selection of "regular" beers, and they've recently started a line of organic beers.
